Vice President Frank Pena opened the meeting with a Flag Salute and 10 count. VP Pena stated that President Charlie Norkus was not feeling well so he will oversee the meeting.

Our next General Membership Ring 8 meeting will occur on Tuesday, November 19th – 7 pm at ONeill’s Restaurant. Located at 64-21 53^rd Drive, Maspeth, Queens, NY 11378.

Guest Speakers will be:

Mathew “Lefty Gunz” Gonzalez, who will receive the RING 8 – Prospect of the Year Award at our Annual Holiday and Awards Ceremony on December 8th. Matthew is undefeated in 9 pro fights with 6 knockouts. Also, with him will be his manager and trainer to talk about his career!

Joe Higgins, who runs the Freeport PAL gym, and was the trainer for Patrick Day! He has spoke before at our meetings and was very good!

Also our President Charlie Norkus has been in and out of he hospital in the last month so let keep him in our prayers!
